I bought a Dremel today!

Today, I bought a new power tool!  Yay, me!  I got a Dremel.  I've read about them on other DIY blogs and how handy they are.  I needed one to remove the backsplash lip off of my countertop.

I just HAD to try it out right away.  I got started on the countertop by the peninsula but after I got halfway to the sink, I realized I had to stop.  I can't do by the sink without removing it and if I continue cutting off the backsplash lip, I risk getting water in there.  So, I removed the piece that I could right away . . . the piece between the fridge and the microwave!

One of the things asked for in the Reader Satisfaction Survey here, was videos.  So, I did some.  This is all a learning curve for me, so I beg your patience.  LOL.  I couldn't upload the videos straight here to the blog, my only option was through YouTube so I created a YouTube channel and uploaded them there.  Let me know what you think!  Comments are appreciated in every post I do, whether here through the blog itself or by commenting on my Facebook page.
