So, I took out the hanging rack and installed a hook system to hang jackets, hats, and footwear. You can read about that post here:
How did that work for me in the end? Well, their designated hooks didn't stay their designated hooks but at least they DO hang up their jackets now for the most part. The hats are a little too close to the coat hooks so those are a bother and keep falling down. I am trying to talk my husband into getting rid of the hats as he don't wear them anyway. The footwear . . . . is still a problem. LOL
Overall, though, I prefer this set-up.
I built the bench back and installed it on the wall. When I need the seat part of the bench at the table, I just have to pull it over. The back stays on the wall. Again, another double-duty build that I am proud of.
Check out all of the black & white buffalo check! I LOVE it! Mom made my window valances with the leftover fabric.
I painted the wall in the bathroom a CIL/Dulux color called Wood Smoke, using Dulux Diamond Matte paint. Out with the old and in with the new! I will be working on adding some wall decor in here in 2018.
I was blessed to be a part of Habitat For Humanity Moncton's Chairs for Charity 2017 event in November. I was one of the lucky designers chosen to participate. I am proud of how the chair turned out that I donated.
I plan to start some new & exciting things in 2018, beyond my normal written blog posts. I can't wait to share them with you all!
